H&M Top, Club Monaco Belt, Shop Chic Escape Skirt

Because of its weight, I don't carry the Diego bag very often. But when I do, I feel extra edgy and chic. I love everything about this bag - the cupcake studs, the slouchyness and the versatility. You can wear it in so many different ways and still compliments with every outfit.

This skirt is from my shop. I really like its sheerness and how it moves when I walk. I am still working on to launch my online shop soon, but there are many things pending at this moment. I can only work on the website after my 5 month old goes to bed every night which doesn't leave me a lot of time. I am still expecting more shipments to arrive, tons of clothes yet to be photographed and measured, and the list goes on and on. My already-cramped condo seems to be getting smaller and smaller with all the clothes which is driving me crazy. But I've always wanted to have my own online clothing store and this determination is what keeps me going. Hopefully, I can be done with everything and launch the store soon.

Where is my sunshine?

We had some really gorgeous weather here in Vancouver last week, but as soon as the weekend approached, the sun was gone and left with rain, wind and chill. Because of the rain, it was not possible to take photos outdoor, so I had my hubby to snap a quick shot of me in the parking lot. I really miss the sun and the warmth!

Ruffles + Colors

I have received the first shipment of clothes for my store Shop Chic Escape. When I spotted this blushed pink blouse, I immediately fell in love with it and I had to keep one for myself. I love its flatter sleeves, and it makes a sweet outfit when paired with a loud color skirt.

Shattered Nails

I am not a fan of Katy Perry but I am a fan of nail polishes. My little sister bought me this OPI Black Shatter nail polish a while ago and it's been sitting in my drawer since then. Being a new mom means you don't always have the time for yourself. A few nights ago, after I put Kaitlyn to bed, I suddenly had the urge to try out this new polish, and voila, I LOVE IT!

 

To create the above look, I first applied a layer of OPI's Bring on the Bling, wait till it completely dries (this is a very important step), then applied a layer of OPI Black Shatter. Have fun with your nails!
