Pink...again

Just an outfit that I wore yesterday to run some errands and pick up groceries. I eliminated almost all the accessories as stacks of bangles won't do me any good when I needed to hold Kaitlyn and carry bags of groceries.

It's no news to you that pink is my favourite color :) As I was going through my blog, I realize I wear a lot of pink pieces. But a girl can never get enough of pink, right? I got this pair of pink skinny jeans from ASOS while they were on sale. The fit is "okay" for me. It's a bit loose on the crotch and thigh areas. The color appears more pink on the website and in the pictures, but it is actually more of a darker magenta color in real life. Otherwise, I like how perfect the waist and length are.  These are still on sale and you can order them here.

The rain finally let up and the sun shined through in the afternoon. I was so glad to finally see some sunshine after days of rain and to wear these clunky heels.

As per my previous post, my hair appointment is not til this Saturday and you'll be seeing me in this hair for a few more days. My fellow blogger alison*elle, who's also a Vancourite and the sweetest girl ever, has given me a great suggestion which I am most likely to go with :)

Blue Dress and Coral Statement Necklace

The weather was so stuffy and humid these couple days, it seems as if a storm is coming. I don't know how to dress other than donning myself into thin layers.

I am loving the pleated detail (although it's not very visible in the picture) and the ruffle hems of this dress. And the bright blue color is also very eye catching in real life. Lastly, I picked a coral statement necklace so that it adds a nice contrast to the blue hues of the outfit.

Oh, I think my hair is getting long and I am due for a hair cut next week. I've always had long hair for as long as I can remember; when I was going through the "shedding hair" stage 3 months after giving birth, it grossed me out to see tons of hair fell off every time I brushed my hair, and it was even more disgusting to see how much hair I lost after washing my hair. I seriously thought I was balding. A chop was really necessary at that point since a) I needed a easier-to-manage hair style and b) it seemed that I didn't shed as much with shorter hair (I know it's an illusion, but oh well). Now the question is, I am not sure if I should just go in for a trim and grow my hair long again, or should I cut it shorter again? Hubby prefers me in shorter hair since he thinks I look edgier.

Fallen for Fall

Hi I am back! I took a mini blog break as I had some health issues the past few weeks. After undergoing a few tests and we found out it was nothing major and could be fixed by some hormone pills (phew). Anyway, I am back to my normal life and back to blogging :)

We didn't get to take many pictures today as we were in a rush and my baby girl was fussing while these pictures were taken. This is a pretty standard fall outfit for me - blazer, skirt and boots. I could be in skirts/dresses all year round; I always have troubles finding pants/jeans that fit me property and I also don't like to go through the hassle of having them altered (call that lazy). So skirts/dresses have become my go to outfits most of the time.

And lastly, I have been on a search for a starfish cuff for a while and I finally found one on Ebay. After first saw it on many fashionistas' wrists, I have always been wanting one. Unfortunately, they were either sold out or way over my budget. I am so glad I found this one on Ebay for $25.99 :)

Pretty In Pink & September Glymm Box Giveaway Winner...

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who entered the September Glymm Box Giveaway. I am excited to announce that the winner is Laura from OPI Addict. I have sent you an email regarding how to claim your prize. Please check your inbox.

So this is what I wore today. I have noticed a change in the weather the past week. The days are shorter and the weather is chillier. I basically lived in blazers all week long. Although I will miss the warm summer days, but I can't wait for fall to arrive.  I am looking forward to playing with layers, bundling up in scarfs, and wearing my favourite boots.

PS. These photos were taken by my little sister as I ran out of patience waiting for hubby to get home from work.
